Role Responsibilities

Empty trash containers across the plant
Spot trailers in Shipping and Receiving as needed.
Unload supplies from trailers as needed. (Stockroom metal, equipment)
Empty dumpsters in all areas of the plant
Haul pallets to and from as necessary
Transport material to and from other buildings.
Adheres to and promotes quality, environmental, health and safety as one of the organization's business priorities.
Shall perform sanitation duties to keep the area neat and clean always.
Safety is everyone's responsibility: Identify risks and report violations, near misses or injuries immediately
Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly
Other duties as assigned.


Role Responsibilities

Maintain grounds as needed.
Maintain roads - grade monthly.
Operate snow and ice removing equipment in an emergency.
Move machinery as needed Assist in general maintenance of facilities.
Operate all types of heavy equipment.
Operate all types of mowing equipment in an emergency.
Install or mount equipment accessories as needed.
Operate spot tractor/forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
Haul supplies to various parts of plant. (Pallets, flavoring, filter pads, etc.)


Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Average to above average attendance and performance/safety records
PI Predictive Index Survey - evaluates behavioral traits (if required)
Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Display a team work attitude
Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and comprehend English with understanding as it relates to job tasks
Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Must have mechanical aptitude.
Must be forklift qualified.
Must have a Class A (CDL) Commercial Driver's License
Licensed with air brake, hazmat endorsement and Tanker.


Physical Requirements

Be able to physically perform all aspects of the position. This includes, but is not limited to:
Lift 40 lbs. on a constant basis and 60 lbs. on an occasional basis, from floor to shoulder height. When situations arise where you are required to lift more than 50 lbs., It is recommended you use any Company provided equipment that you are qualified to operate, or the lift should be performed by two employees.
Climb a minimum of two flights of stairs in succession
Able to bend and stoop.
Must be able to work in extremely hot, cold and dusty conditions.
Ability to report to work and stay for duration of the day.
Have acceptable (or corrected) visual acuity and depth perception. Have acceptable (or corrected) hearing.
