[Job duties:]{.underline}

-Diagnosing and providing comprehensive treatment for patients presenting complex cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure (both left sided and right sided heart failure),

Cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension and chemotherapy induced cardiotoxicity

• Spearheading the initiation of a program dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac amyloid conditions. (under diagnosed disease with high prevalence in African

American population)

• Engaging in multiple hospital committees to contribute expertise and insights in cardiac care

• Managing critically ill patients within the cardiac intensive care unit, overseeing cases of circulatory failure and Cardiogenic shock.

• Performing specialized procedures including right heart catheterization (RHC), exercise RHC, RHC with reversibility test for pulmonary hypertension patient, cardiac biopsies, and the

placement of cardiomem devices.

• Educating and mentoring medical students, medicine residents, and training cardiology fellows in the nuanced management of advanced cardiac illnesses.

• Expertise in diagnosing and managing patients with infiltrative cardiomyopathy such as Cardiac Amyloidosis , Cardiac Sarcoidosis

• Expertise in managing Obstetric patient with cardiovascular diseases

• Expertise in management of End Stage Heart Failure

• Expertise in evaluating patients prior to heart transplant and left ventricular assisted device
