Description The ANM position provides comprehensive care to patients, while being a leader on the unit. Specifically, our focus is on Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology, including care of the TAVR patient population. Position Summary/Essential Duties: To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families. Essential duties include: 1. Routinely provide patient care. 2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. 3. Maintains employee records. 4. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. 5. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education. 6. Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. 7. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. 8. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. 9. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. 10. Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
