Specifically, our focus is on Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology, including care of the TAVR patient population. Position Summary/Essential Duties: To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families. Essential duties include: 1. Routinely provide patient care. 2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. 3. Maintains employee records. 4. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. 5. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education. 6. Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. 7. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. 8. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. 9. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. 10.
