This is a position with global grade 15 This position reports to Manager R&D Engineering 2 Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cybersecurity policies and standards. Each day, you will assist Test Engineers with product and system testing. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing standard test records and completing test documentation. The work model for the role is: onsite with the ability to occasionally work from home This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Control Platform division in Cleveland , OH. You will be mainly accountable for: Maintaining test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements. Supporting risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions. Utilizing standardized processes and tools and maintaining/calibrating them. Assisting in carrying out tests and inspections at suppliers' premises to meet contractual obligations Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical engineering required 2 plus years of relative engineering or test engineering experience desired Knowledge of Symphony Plus/Harmony Control System Deployment is desired Knowledge of Safe Agile, SDLC, Defect Life cycle, Test Automation, Defect Management, white and black box test methodologies desired Knowledge of Test Management tools is added advantage Ability to problem solve, communicate effectively, and work amongst a global team Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Benefits Retirement plan Life insurance Disability insurance Healthcare plan Wellbeing program More about us ABB is a leading global technology company that energizes the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.
