Benefits/HR Coordinator - Position and Responsibilities As a Benefits/HR Coordinator with Middough, you will partner with the HR corporate team on HRIS system management, benefit/leave administration, Benefit/HR reporting, and Benefit/HR administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate benefits processing to include new hire enrollments, COBRA events, terminations, qualifying event changes, beneficiaries, and life/disability claims. Assist with benefit processes to include new hire and annual enrollments, COBRA events, terminations, qualifying event changes, beneficiaries, and life/disability claims. Accurate and timely processing of employee benefit enrollments and changes into the HRIS platform and timely communication of benefit enrollment and eligibility to insurance carriers/brokers. Assist with FMLA requests, short/long term disability claims, general employee leave requests and employee accommodation requests. Assist with benefit open enrollment (OE) processes and effective and timely employee OE support (annual and new hire). Assist with presenting new hire benefit orientation. Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers regarding benefit programs, enrollments, status changes, policies, and other general HR inquiries. Assist with general benefit invoicing and with mandatory compliance reporting. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. Compile HR data and run monthly reports as directed by VP of HR. Support and be a champion of company' benefits and wellness initiatives. Maintain appropriate employee personnel and HR documentation per policy. As part of the corporate HR team, collaborate with all corporate functions and colleagues across the organization based on a daily basis and on joint initiatives. Education, Experience and Skills The successful candidate will possess the following: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on HRIS experience required. 3+ years of hands-on benefit and human resources experience required. Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Oracle, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable. SHRM credential desirable. Work experience in a professional, technical, or consulting environment required. Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Highly effective and engaging verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. High degree of integrity in adhering to corporate policy and within all HR activities. Strong ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
