Robert Half Cash Application Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is based 100% on-site and involves working in the Accounts Receivable department, primarily focusing on collections and cash applications.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary action to collect overdue payments

• Utilizing accounting software systems and CRM for efficient data management

• Generating reports using Crystal Reports and other ERP tools

• Managing cash activity and applying cash applications

• Carrying out billing functions and managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Working with Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient data handling.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and CRM

• Experience with Crystal Reports and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Understanding of Billing Functions

• Experience with Cash Activity and Cash Applications. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively

• Experience in managing Cash Activity

• Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Relevant experience in a Wholesale Distribution industry is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
