Job Title: Chemical Operator ( MUST BE OPEN TO 2nd and 3rd Shift)

Pay Rate is $26 an hour to start. After 6 months of employment, candidates will automatically receive $9 raise

Job Description :

• Creating batches of liquid and powder chemicals in kettles

• Follow step-by-step batch ticket to completion

• Operate multiple kettles and 2000-ton cylinders at once

• Lift up to 55lb bags as needed

• Walk up and down stairs to load and unload kettles

• Clean and sanitize work stations and kettles after or before batches

• Pull products as needed for production using a forklift

• Pull sample of batch to give to lab for checking

Work Environment

Very old facility, over 100 years old. Strong smell of sulfur that will take time to get used to. It is dirty and not temperature controlled, so in the summer it can be hot, and in the winter it will be cold. Uniforms provided and washed by Cintas with a $250 reimbursement for boots. Candidates need to be open on shift, 2nd shift being priority. Hours are: 1st: 6:50am - 2:50pm, 2nd: 2:50PM - 10:50PM, 3rd: 10:50PM - 6:50AM.
