Coordinates with other departments for the resolution of issues and challenges. Exercises initiative in arranging details to attain job objectives. 2 Basic Function of the Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Production Control is: ? Responsibility for the development and maintenance of relationships with assigned customers, representatives, vendors, manufacturing, and purchasing. ? Reviews contract specification, sales orders and other project documents to understand all requirements. ? Schedules and coordinates work with appropriate department associate(s) so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. ? Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials supplies. ? Maintains records related to production data and performance including volume produced. ? Coordinates production and shipping activities, resolves issues and delays through collaboration with fellow associates, vendors, and customers. ? Revises production schedules to address issues such as labor, material shortages, backlogs, or design changes. 3 Education: ? Required: High School Diploma or equivalent ? Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution. 4 Experience: ? Requires: 1+ years proven successful customer service and production control.
