The Sherwin-Williams Company Marketing Product Manager - Interior Waterborne in Cleveland, Ohio

New Product Development for Industrial Wood Interior Waterborne technology Management of the stage gate process from ideation to successful launch/audit Identification of CTQ's (critical to quality) requirements for new/existing products Gathering and analysis of competitive information Development of Technical Scope and Specifications Proforma Development New Product Validation and field testing New Product Commercialization Determine Market Pricing and guidance Aid in the development of new product launch package with Marketing Communications team Forecasting Industrial Wood Interior Waterborne Product Line Maintenance / Management Develop and maintain product's technical information (Product Data Sheets, Label Directions, MSDS, etc.) Ongoing competitive benchmarking Manage Product Lifecycle including SKU Rationalization Strategic product planning/road map utilizing Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) methodology Maintain Market intelligence and understanding Organize time with the field organization to support & understand applicable market needs Identify sources for key market intelligence Understand customer processes utilizing interior waterborne technologies Lead & maintain alignment with R&D, sales, facilities, and manufacturing FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors degree from an accredited university Preferred: Masters degree KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 5-7 years experience working in the coatings industry 5-7 years experience working with a cross functional team of technical, marketing, and sales professionals. Proven knowledge of and experience with successfully launching new products via the Stage Gate process.
