The Sherwin-Williams Company Marketplace Portfolio Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

The Portfolio Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketplace Lead by managing marketplace projects to ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives and are successfully delivered within the set time, budget, and quality parameters. Responsibilities include analyzing the health and performance of existing marketplace projects, identifying areas for improvement, and developing business cases for new projects. The Portfolio Analyst will also facilitate collaboration and communication with stakeholders across business groups to ensure alignment and support of marketplace goals and priorities. Additionally, they will provide executive-level reporting and dashboards, tracking marketplace performance metrics and offering data-driven insights to the Marketplace Lead. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Strategic Support: Assist the Marketplace Lead in developing the marketplace strategy and execution plan. Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain comprehensive marketplace-level dashboards and reports to convey status, key performance indicators, and financial tracking. Policy and Process Development: Help develop, implement, and maintain portfolio management policies, processes, and standards. Project Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of multiple initiatives/projects. Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned marketplace projects related to schedule and resource allocation issues. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication across the strategy and execution team to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Data-Driven Insights: Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support informed decision-making by the Marketplace Lead and senior leadership. Meeting Management: Manage and facilitate regular marketplace meetings and progress reviews, ensuring proper communication. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or in lieu of a related degree, at least 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles. Preferred: Related certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or Agile) preferred KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 2+ years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of data management practices and principles and how to incorporate them into portfolio management activities. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency with Agile, Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, JIRA, Planview. Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy. Big Data Concepts: Understanding of Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases. Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. Data Management or Analytics Software: Proficiency with Informatica, IBM, Oracle.
