Actalent Project Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mid-Level Project Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement Microsoft Project across various departments to streamline project management processes.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive production and project schedules.

  • Manage delivery timelines and ensure effective communication with customers.

  • Partner with engineering and production teams to create and track key project milestones and deadlines.

  • Monitor supply chain and lead times, managing contingent project schedules based on component flow.

  • Generate detailed reports on project status, progress, and performance metrics.

  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely procurement of components.

  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.

  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • The project manager will be responsible for leading the largest project this firm has brought in, with a higher volume of units than production is accustomed to the large project will support a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation

Must Have:

  • Associates degree in Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and lead times.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

industry experience in a steel manufacturing or fabrication process

Bachelors degree
