Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Cleveland OH

Our rapidly growing client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team immediately. Your primary role is to ensure that our products consistently meet or exceed our customers' expectations for quality, reliability, and performance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance methods and procedures, conducting product tests, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and working closely with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues throughout the product development and manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with purchasing / manufacturing on supplier quality issues

• Oversee supplier MRB and corrective action process.

• Maintain supplier quality metrics.

• Assist in preparing sampling plans, FMEAs, control plans.

• Develop test methods and related procedures.

• Conduct and/or oversee product testing during product development and into production.

• Conduct training with Quality Technicians as required.

• Maintain test records (electronic and hard copy) for easy retrieval.

• Perform detailed data analysis and prepare reports.

• Support customer-specific requests including, but not limited to, testing, product certs (COC) and related test data.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• ASQ CQE certification or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role

• Knowledge and experience with ISO-9000 Quality Management Standards

• Proficient in measurement, inspection and testing methods including experience with Gage R&R

• Experience with gage calibration process

• Knowledgeable in the use of statistical analysis

• Process auditing experience

• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques.

• Experience with statistical software such as SQC Pack or Minitab®

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to travel as needed.

• Flexibility to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment.

• Excellent organizational / time management skills and ability to multi-task About

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
