Job Title: Quality Technician $21-25/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality for our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of quality control and assurance tasks, including receiving inspections, production audits, final dock audits, lab testing, and more. You will play a key role in maintaining our quality system and ensuring product nonconformances are resolved promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving inspections to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.

  • Conduct process and product audits on the production floor.

  • Execute final dock audits to verify the quality of outgoing shipments.

  • Conduct routine laboratory testing to ensure product specifications are met.

  • Report and resolve product nonconformances.

  • Implement corrective actions as required.

  • Maintain and care for measurement gauges.

  • Perform measurement and testing procedures accurately.

  • Work independently without direct supervision.

  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently and complete them on time.

  • Assist in resolving nonconformance issues promptly.

  • Communicate detailed information to supervision and management both verbally and in writing.

  • Support other activities that enhance the overall quality system.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience with micrometers and calipers.

  • 1+ year of experience with blueprints or work instructions.

  • 1+ year of experience in quality inspection.

  • Experience in receiving inspection and final inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in visual inspection.

  • Knowledge of quality control and assurance techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience with quality checks and final inspections.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. The facility is clean, organized, well-lit, and maintains a mild temperature. It is a quiet environment where employees are allowed to listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. The dress code is casual with gym shoes, and safety glasses are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00
