The Sherwin-Williams Company R&D- Senior Data Analyst, Raw Materials in Cleveland, Ohio

This position will be responsible for supporting Global PCG Business Units with required data and information on Raw Material (RM) usage, formulas containing certain RM, impact analysis and assist in RM project management. This position also partners directly with regulatory, procurement, marketing, and GSC architectural to ensure alignment in data feeds and strategy. This position will also work with our global PCG counterparts to ensure continuity of data for Global Raw Material Strategy. Utilizing Sherwin Williams systems, tools, and processes, create complex reports that will aid in global RM optimization, consolidation, discontinuations, strategy and preferred suppliers and raw materials. Provide timely data extraction and analysis for Raw Material issues within 24 hours of request. This position will report to the Global RM Manager. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. Utilize and lead creation of Tableau to visualize data and proactively identify opportunities for Global RM optimization. Manage complex data request independently with Business Unit leaders and prioritize project effectively. Generate data within 24 hours of request due to severity of raw material issues Analyze data for Global RM optimization as regional and overall Sherwin Williams data by Business Unit to reduce Master Rex (Formula) and Raw Material count. Provide global RM Coordinators (14 individuals) with data analysis, such as Raw Material Where-Used, Inventory Report, Purchase History, Regulatory information, RM supplier approval status from PV, Business Object, Tableau etc. Track/Create reports in Navigator on RM savings, discontinuations, and security of supply. Maintain Navigator projects with monthly update from BUs and Sourcing. Utilize Tableau to pull existing reports and create new if needed. Independently generate Creative solutions to complex data problems Automotive Colorant intermediates Independently generate multiple input dashboards - combining data from Procurement, Technical, and Regulatory to create a preferred RM strategy. Independently execute visualizations for Global PCG Preferred Category Strategy, with Enterprise and GSC consideration. Provide data to Global RM Coordinators and Global BUs on raw material usage out of non-Best of Breed systems.* ie.) Coil and Packaging (PKG) resin usage Provide additional/new reports to Global counterparts for both PCG and GSC for all regions Multiple Reports created in Tableau for LATAM, EMEAI Present data on Global RM Meetings Collaborate with Procurement Center of Excellence (COE), Global Supply Chain (GSC) Data, Performance Coatings Group (PCG) Technical and Marketing to create Global dashboards Collaborate with IT on data needs not readily available to consume in Tableau, Business Objects, or other data systems Generate reports using Business Objects, Optiva, Product Vision, Navigator, MRP, Oracle 11i, OBIEE, and Advanced Excel, Microsoft Access, and OnBase Advanced utilization of Tableau and Dataiku Training/Mentoring individuals in Tableau and Dataiku inside PCG and outside organization. Advanced utilization of Excel to combined multiple sources of data to provide overall RM strategy to Global PCG Business unit Frequent Global interactions with PCG Labs in APAC, LATAM, and EMEAI Manage (or assist with) special projects, which may include compiling and analyzing targeted data, reviews and assessments of processes or developing special reports. Creates detailed reports on findings
