The Sherwin-Williams Company Senior IT Business Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

The Business Analyst is responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency of business processes related to projects in the Enterprise Data & Insights (ED&I) organization. Their focus is to provide a deep-dive analysis into current business operations, pinpointing areas of improvement, and formulating business cases for future projects. The Business Analyst is instrumental in fostering effective inter-business collaborations and keeping stakeholders up-to-date. Key to this role is leveraging data analytics to deliver strategic insights to senior leadership and suggest informed decision-making strategies. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Collaborate with the Program Manager to optimize operational efficiency Develop and maintain ED&I operational dashboards and reports that focus on revealing business process efficiency and financial tracking at a project level Assess impact and convey the progress of different initiatives/projects on business operations Act as the primary liaison for designated projects relating to operational improvements, challenges, timeline adjustments, and resource utilization Facilitate communication within the operational team, keeping all stakeholders abreast and engaged Generate valuable, data-backed insights and analysis to foster informed decision-making by the senior leadership Host and manage regular business analysis reviews, ensuring thorough recording and communication of project performance, risks, and issues "Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 6 years of experience in business analysis roles. Preferred: Professional certifications (e.g., PBA, CBAP, CCBA or Agile) preferred KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles Excellent analytical abilities with the capability to translate data into actionable outcomes Established communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to fortify collaborations and influence across teams and stakeholders Understanding of data management practices and the application of these in managing portfolios/programs TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Data Analysis Methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall) Data Analytics and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau and MicroStrategy) Database Systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) Data Management or Analytics Software (e.g., Informatica, IBM, Oracle) Project Management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) Travel 5% Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
