Sr. Financial Analyst

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for driving analytics to support strategic revenue initiatives/decision-making including gross and net customer retention modeling, asset retention on contract renewals, monthly forecasting and special projects/analysis as required by the leadership team. The position requires a highly seasoned financial professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a growing and dynamically diverse organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the development and preparation of key performance indicators relating to customer and asset retention to inform the annual and long-range plans including presentations to the Management Team.

  • Co-own the preparation, review, and implementation of the revenue attrition dashboard to support key performance indicators of revenue and effect on EBITDA performance.

  • Identify and analyze new key performance indicators to drive performance improvement relating to revenue retention and customer retention including strategic get in early sales targets.

  • Identify opportunities to improve manual and automated systems to realize process efficiencies in finance and customer intelligence.

  • Effectively communicate the status of ad hoc analytics, reporting, & outcomes to inform assumptions for planning, forecasting, and other strategic projects.

  • Develop, refine, and maintain financial models used for predictive forecasting and planning purposes by reporting unit and geography.

  • Implement a monthly re-forecasting process and the analysis of actual results, including the preparation of related reports and analyses to communicate effectiveness of get in early strategy to business stakeholders.

  • Responsible for other recurring or ad hoc internal reports and analyses as required and/or requested by the President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

  • Assign, direct, monitor and review work of those involved in the global budgeting and forecasting processes pertaining to retention.

  • Collaborate with the customer intelligence team to ensure accuracy of data inputs in reporting of budgeted, actual, and forecasted results, including detailed analyses and specific explanations supporting related variances.

  • Interacts with all levels and departments within the Company.

  • Supports VP strategic Finance and other members of the senior leadership team.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of work experience.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in performing financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting and financial modeling.

  • Process ownership/improvement experience.

  • Previous experience in managing a team of professionals.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with expert Excel competencies.

  • Experience in Banking, Big-three Accounting, or Technology preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Bonus Points:

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
