Seeking a Sr. Procurement Systems Specialist to be part of the Procurement Strategy & Enablement team. The team supports the global Procurement Operations in the 4 core areas of procurement process, systems, market intelligence and compliance & governance. This role will support the development and implementation of any Procurement adjacent IT systems, ensuring overall alignment with Global Procurement's goals. Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to the following: Lead the design and build of procurement owned or procurement adjacent IT systems. Support the implementation of Business Integrated Operating Systems (BIOS) globally in the strategic procurement aspects. Ensure systems enhance Procurement's overall performance & efficiencies. Implement technology to streamline our processes and reduce the overall cost to serve. Oversee SherProcure system and process managing N. America consignment raw materials. Works with suppliers, IT, finance, and operations to resolve any system related issues. Maintains alignment between the company's technology improvement initiatives and Global Procurement's objectives. Cleanse, format, transform, load, and analyze large data sets according to application guidelines. Support the sourcing team through the development of best practices and guidelines for internal applications and integrations. Respond to internal and external requests for data, which may include unplanned request requiring quick turn-around time. Collaborate, build, and foster relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams across multiple business units/divisions, including IT, Finance, Operations, and other subject matter experts. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices with regards to Strategic Procurement systems and tools. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree or greater from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or other related field KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 4 years of relevant post college work experience Preferred: 6 years of relevant, post college work experience in Sourcing, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, or related experience is desirable. Experience in the designing and implementation of Procurement IT systems is strongly preferred. Must be a self-starter with an ability to work with minimal direction/supervision in a fast-paced environment. Track record of increasing responsibility with strong performance. Proficient with ERP Systems, Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills. Good systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated skill in educating and providing guidance to current and new users on systems, tools, and data definitions. Project management experience. Process improvement experience. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Experience working with ERP systems. Excellent communication skills. PC Skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
