Summary:

Responsible for execution and operation of components that make up the IS Security Program. Ensures that security policies, standards and procedures are followed. Maintains operational responsibility for deployed security products (including, but not limited to: SIEM, DLP, Data Management, Vulnerability, Security Testing, IAM, firewall, web content filter, cloud, deception, threat intel, AV/AM, IDS/IPS SIEM, DLP, Data Management, Vulnerability, Security Testing, IAM, firewall, web content filter, cloud, deception, threat intel, AV/AM, and IDS/IPS). Provides content for security awareness program. Participates in risk management and security incident evaluation and investigation using deployed security products. Knowledgeable in more than one MHS technology or application area. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 5 years Information Systems experience in more than one technology area (Access Management, Network, Device, Data, or Application). Competent with at least 2 security products or services. Basic understanding of healthcare specific security and privacy (HIPAA). Excellent communication skills. Security Certification (Security+ or other equivalent).

Preferred: IS experience.

Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
