Ultimately responsible for accounts between 2mm - 15mm in sales P&L responsibility and accountability for their account/s. Researches, develops and implements pricing for account/s. Responsible for all inventory for account/s. Ultimate decision-maker for account/s. Growth of Product Finishes sales and market share within the account/s. Successful growth of new technologies due to "personal" relationship with customer. Create a strong industrial image for the company. Accountability for all aspects of account/s. Provide strategy on maintaining and growing business with focused customers. Continue to cultivate relationships with account key players. Effectively utilize resources: sales, marketing and technical, to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. Managing multiple locations and multiple technologies. The go-to person for this global customer. Utilize resources through planning of tech rep interface to meet customer expectations. Understand servicing Facility's strengths and weaknesses and communicate effectively to ensure that commitments made are within facilities capabilities. Identify potential problems and work with all resources to resolve. Handle customer complaints within the lines of authority and manage process to resolution. Cultivate and maintain relationships with customer in order to meet expectations and gain additional locations/market share. Work with local sales management to secure business at major subcontractors to the account. Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Industrial Coatings, preferably Wood Coatings Sales PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
