Clive Behavioral Health

Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources.

Qualifications

House Supervisor (RN)

Position Summary:

The House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff. The House Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the nursing staff, patients, and patient care during their shift. The House SupHouseor will work closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during their shift.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility required.

Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed to practice by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in Verbal De-Escalation and Handle with Care within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
