Get started! REQUISITION SUMMARY The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the Lease Accounting functions for PLC. JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the U.S. and Canada Lease Accounting group includes month-end closing process, account reconciliations, and monthly financial management reporting and analysis. Manage daily operations including cash application, new lease volume, lease modifications, payoffs, and dispositions. Manage franchise lease ACH payment function. Coordinate quarterly reporting to Corporate Accounting and external auditors to support SEC filings and other information requests. Support annual corporate tax reporting for US and Canada. Participate in Internal Control and Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Manage accounting staff including hiring, training, cross-training, goal setting, and performance appraisals. Support and maintain ongoing process improvement expectation within the group and operations to identify and implement efficiencies and enhancements. Other special projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 5+ years accounting or finance experience. Strong technical accounting, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation. Strong PC skills including advanced MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, etc.) EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. CPA and/or MBA desired.
