Job Description We are seeking a highly organized individual who works well independently, is proactive, and an excellent critical thinker who thinks outside of the box. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of Cisco VoIP experience including programming, provisioning, and decommissioning Cisco desk phones for customers. Experience wtih Cisco Unity Voicemail, Cisco Jabber Soft Phones, and Extension Mobility is also highly sought after for this role. Construct, install and maintain equipment associated with microwave, fiber optics, radio, telephone, SCADA and miscellaneous communications or electronic devices and telephony and voice services, Perform similar and incidental duties as required. This position will support the Telecom Voice team. This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. Minimum Qualifications Must have two years recent experience installing and maintaining communications and electronic equipment as used by the utility industry. Must demonstrate competence in analyzing and repairing such equipment including, but not limited to; microwave, fiber optics, radio, telephone, SCADA and miscellaneous communications or electronic devices. Must possess a FCC General Class Radio Operator license. Must be able to calculate electrical quantities, able to read and sketch electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and be able to use shop tools and instruments used in communications and electronic work in a safe manner. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with Company employees, customers and other personnel. Must possess or obtain within thirty (30) working days after selection a valid First Aid/CPR card. May require the employee to obtain and maintain a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL B) with air and other necessary endorsements. Training will be provided to obtain this license. Must have a working knowledge and comply with all Company standards, policies, practices and procedures and State and Federal safety regulations as they pertain to the job. Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license. Desired Qualifications Experience performing Add/Move/Changes (MACD's) within Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) which provides enterprise voice services across the enterprise. Experience with (MACD's) Cisco Unity Voicemail Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex enterprise VOIP issues on Cisco Platform Experience troubleshooting and resolving Network/TCP-IP communications issues that affect enterprise Voice. Experience performing Add/Move/Changes and design of complex dial plans utilizing Cisco Call Center Express. (UCCX) Programing/provisioning/decommissioning Cisco desk phones for customers Experience with provisioning Cisco Jabber Soft Phones and Extension Mobility. 3 years VoIP experience Cisco Certified Network administrator Linux/Unix experience Call center experience Highly skilled at Troubleshooting Additional Information Job Conditions and Physical Efforts: The duties and responsibilities are performed in a varied indoor and outdoor environment.
