Tanium Director of Product Management, ServiceNow - 5703356 in Clyde Hill, Washington

The Basics: As Director of Product Management at Tanium, you will be responsible for the development and business success of Tanium solutions and integrations that are built on the ServiceNow platform and that support Tanium's strategic partnership and joint go-to-market motion with ServiceNow. In this role, you will work with engineering, product, sales and marketing, technical account managers, & customers on important, cross-functional analytical, and strategic projects to ensure alignment of our overall product vision, product development, and ultimately, our go-to-market strategies. You will be doing this while keeping in mind customer needs, satisfaction, & adoption. Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, have intuition and an understanding of what makes an enterprise software business successful. They would also strike a balance between having a strong technical data analysis and modeling ability, but also the intuition around business and strategy needed to understand Tanium's practical realities and the desired outcomes of our mutual Tanium and ServiceNow customers and partners. This is an individual contributor position. What you'll do:

  • As an individual contributor, you will identify & cultivate strategic customer relationships to obtain feedback on existing products, identify opportunities, & establish requirements for future state product capabilities and long term roadmap.
  • Take ownership of the strategy, growth, and success of Tanium's product innovation with ServiceNow.
  • Assist in the development of sales & technical enablement materials
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to establish the go-to market strategy for your products, target prospective customers, and exploit competitive differentiators for your products
  • Develop and grow joint-platform solutions and strategic relationships through integration development alignment between Tanium and ServiceNow solution teams.
  • Support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate the adoption of your products and to build Tanium's brand
  • Define strategic direction for your products and work with stakeholders, both internal and external, to achieve buy-in for your vision and their role in executing on it
  • Collaborate with the product management team to align and accelerate the value of new platform products with Tanium's technology, strategic direction, and business imperatives in mind.

We're looking for someone with: Education

  • BA/BS degree from a leading undergraduate institution

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years Enterprise Software experience
  • 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in ServiceNow software engineering, solutions engineering, solutions architecture, product management, or related roles
  • Experience building and managing products on the ServiceNow platform
  • Demonstrable ability with ServiceNow APIs and scripting languages including JavaScript and Angular
  • Minimum 3 years hands on experience with IT operations and systems management products
  • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting IT operations, IT service, and IT systems management products from a consulting or vendor point of view
  • Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop and launch successful software products
