Responsibilities As a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Process Intern, you will have an opportunity to learn about the critical connection between complex system architectures and detailed 3D design. You will gain hands on experience with multiple MBSE applications and the SysML modeling language to codify the collaborative thread between systems engineers and core mechanical designers. You will have opportunity to develop and apply your technical and communication skills as part of a focused team to build content on advanced engineering methods. Working primarily with systems engineers and interacting with engineers from other domains, you will author, create, and demonstrate methods that enhance cross-domain technical collaboration. You will work in a highly technical, collaborative, fast-paced environment. * Develop basic proficiency in modeling complex system architectures using SysML. * Developing processes to extract key parameters and core mechanical requirements from SysML for consumption by design engineers. * Likewise, develop processes to report key constraints and derivative requirements from CAD design to SysML. * Help develop and document realistic engineering examples and tutorials * Produce and edit videos using Camtasia software * Interview subject matter experts as necessary This is a 3 month paid internship with flexible start date. The opportunity is based in Bellevue, WA, Royal Oak, MI, Wichita, KS, or Woodland Hills, CA. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
