Get started! REQUISITION SUMMARY PACCAR is seeking a Payroll Analystto join our dynamic payroll team. In this role, you will be able to support a Fortune 500 company and efficiently process payroll for a great company. JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you can expect some of the following responsibilities: Input and maintain employee payroll records in SAP, auditing for compliance with company policy, procedures, and authorizations with cyclical deadlines. Process manual, non-standard or correction transactions. Cross-check input,audit and reconcile output and research discrepancies. Establish and maintain a productive relationship with division contacts and internal staff in payroll, HR, benefits, and accounting, always maintaining confidentiality. Rotating duties, funding requests, report updates, cross-training. Providing support for department special projects and process improvement. Understanding payroll internal controls and helping to assess payroll and human resource compliance. Scheduling and processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll jobs and subsequent activities. Reconcile and balance labor-related costs. Prepare intercompany cross charges, monthly journal entries and reconcile assigned general ledger and sub-ledger accounts. Prepare monthly and year-end payroll calendar Identify, research, and resolve data errors, understand, and communicate impact to others QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Prior experience with automated payroll processing, SAP experience desired but not required. Work within flexible priorities and sometimes short deadlines Demonstrated ability to identify, research, analyze and resolve discrepancies Clear verbal and written communication.
