Job Description PSE's Clean Energy Strategy team is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Consultant to support the successful operation, compliance, and continuous improvement of PSE's Clean Energy plans. A successful candidate will provide guidance and oversight in researching, planning, developing and implementing compliance programs related to CETA (Clean Energy Transformation Act) and the Integrated System Plan to ensure the Company meets all federal, state and other regulatory requirements. This role also advises internal departments of regulatory requirements specific to CETA, manages the development of compliance reporting requirements, provides input into federal and state rulemaking proceedings, and monitors and interprets federal and state regulations, orders or policy statements and rules to stay informed of current and changing requirements. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Researches and remains current on federal, state and other statutes, regulations and orders. Oversees progress towards meeting CEIP regulatoryrequirements, and provides guidance on regulatory priorities Manages submission of regulatory reports and writing for any reporting including CETA, Annual progress Report, and Compliance report Responds to internal questions about CETA or clean energy progress more generally Assists teams at PSE in understanding the regulatory and legal requirements for CETA and the ISP, including consulting with regulatory and legal teams where appropriate Supports CETA and ISP related research requirements, including but not limited to CETA eligible resources, renewable energy credits, and customer benefit indicators Monitors CEIP reporting requirements including Conditions or other information from WUTC Orders Plans, develops and implements programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Develops training programs to ensure employees are knowledgeable regarding regulatory compliance issues and conducts necessary training. Coordinates with compliance personnel to meet compliance standards and timelines in other departments. Performs investigations, as necessary, related to potential regulatory/compliance violations. Provides input into federal and state rulemaking proceedings. Works cooperatively across the organization and company where applicable, to communicate pending or upcoming regulatory proposals and for obtaining input in aligning regulatory proposals with the company objectives. Supports assessments of the effectiveness of compliance controls. Formulates sound control practices and processes for managing potential risks and exposures. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or engineering or applicable field and eight years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
