Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble batteries and electrical assemblies in accordance with approved design data to include procedures, drawings, and schematics.
• Perform in-process and final testing of both electronic assemblies and batteries.
• Have the ability to identify and expose safety hazards that may not be present to the casual observer.
• Perform work with a high degree placed on safety.
• Assist with troubleshooting and reworking batteries or assemblies.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards that comply with Saft's World Class program.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Proven ability to become certified in J-STD-001, IPC 610 and IPC 620.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings and process specifications.
• Ability to operate various hand-tools and numerous other manufacturing and test equipment.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills with emphasis on paying attention to details.
• Works as a part of a team.
• Able to adapt quickly to new methods and techniques.
• Understand and consistently perform work in a manner that meets the requirements of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Able to learn quickly
