Coleman County Appraisal District Appraisal/Collection Clerk in Coleman, Texas
Job Description:
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Good with math, office calculators, and money counting skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong telephone skills
- Willing to work towards state certification in Collections and/or Appraisal
- Must be willing to work under stressful office deadlines
- Good team player
- Must be self-motivated and willing to work with little supervision
- Must follow code of ethics, state and federal laws

Minimum Education, Experience and Age Requirements:
- Education: Minimum -- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Months of Experience: None required, but prior clerical work will have preference
- License/Certification: Must be able to register with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and work toward a Property Tax Professional Designation of Collector, Assessor-Collector, or Appraiser. Employer will pay for all classes required to obtain a license.
Transportation Requirements:
- Driver License (DL) Required: Yes, along with reliable transportation. Clean driving record.
Compensation Hours:
- Salary: $28,500/year to start - will change to $31,200/year after 1^st^ year after passing employer evaluation.
- Shift: Day - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Occasional overtime during certain seasonal deadlines
