Responsibilities

• Knowledge and demonstrated competency in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath's, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures.

• Knowledgeable in the performance of Electrophysiological studies.

• Knowledgeable in the operation of Physiological Monitoring system for diagnostic, interventional studies. Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data, documents events, and calculates valve areas.

• Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed. Measure and documents pressure recordings.

• Scrubs at tableside assisting physician with procedure.

• Able to take Scrub Call Independently and assist Physician's in acute MI and Stroke procedures on unstable patients.

• Knowledgeable of various Stents their accurate preparation and deployment.

• Knowledgeable of Thrombectomy procedures, including preparation and deployment.

• Knowledgeable and demonstrates competency in the insertion of IABPMechanical Circulatory support device in critically ill patients.

• Knowledgeable of Intravascular Ultrasound theory and application to include system set up and operation.

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to maintain a sterile field while assisting the physician in performing the procedures.

• Operates Physiological Monitoring system for Diagnostic, EP, Neuro, and Interventional studies.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Education: Associates Degree

Required Licensure and Certifications

• CVT or RT, or the combination of ACLS plus demonstrated proficiency in the performance of scrubbing CCL procedures

• ACLS

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

• Must be able to take call and return to hospital within 30 minutes to hospital

Pay Range

$23.98 - $34.78 /hour
