About You

You are an accomplished cyber professional with an extensive and in-depth understanding of cybersecurity policy and strategy guidelines. Your qualifications include:

Five+ years of proven cyber policy experience in the federal domain.

Experience with and working understanding of federal cybersecurity laws and regulations, including FISMA.

Well-versed with NIST publications, including NIST 800 series, and OMB circulars such as OMB A-130 circular and memoranda.

Maintains an active CISSP, CISM, CISA or other professional cybersecurity certification which complies with DoD 8570 IAT Level III or IAM Level III .

Demonstrated professional demeanor, adept at fostering positive client interactions and forging robust, trusting professional relationships.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, facilitating effective information dissemination.

Flexibility in scheduling, with the capacity to work outside of standard business hours to meet project demands.

Ability to occasionally travel up to 10% of the time and the willingness to work at client sites as needed, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.

Ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation for a high-risk Public Trust position.

Your Impact

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing cybersecurity policies and strategies tailored to meet our federal clients' unique needs and requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing existing and proposed policies and using sound judgement to evaluate alternatives and recommend new solutions, processes, policies, standards in support of federal clients.

Applying in-depth knowledge of cyber laws, regulations, and industry guidelines to draft comprehensive, effective, and measurable cyber policy and governance documents.

Providing tactical and strategic guidance and direction to federal clients and other stakeholders to mature governance and compliance.

Creating persuasive and articulated whitepapers, C-suite level memos, and other necessary documents to drive informed action and decision-making.

Editing, proofreading, and providing writing support on governance documents prepared by others, including federal clients and other team members.

Building strong working relationships and partnerships federal clients, within own organization, and across technology and business teams at all levels of management

Keeping clients well-informed with clear and specific status updates and identifying risks and issues.

Facilitating meetings and training sessions focused on policy and governance to ensure smooth understanding and implementation.
