Overview

Responsibilities
Instructs, motivates and Assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre-ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities
Assesses, and compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments
Fit patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices
Encourages the active participation of the patient and/or family in goal setting and patient/family training/education
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist AssistantsCurrent Texas State Licensure (PTA)American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
PTA:MA
BLS-CPR
Must have valid driver’s license & auto liability insurance according to company policy
Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered

Pay Range
$22.89 - $33.20 /hour
