Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in College Station, Texas. This role involves managing accounting tasks, from balance sheet reconciliations to general ledger management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Analyze balance sheets and manage the reconciliation process

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial statements

• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure entries are processed correctly

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain financial data and reports

• Coordinate and execute the month-end close process

• Manage the NetSuite application to streamline financial operations

• Utilize Oracle and SAP systems for various accounting operations

• Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role

• Proven knowledge in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Strong understanding of General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in SAP software

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
