DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services for the inmate population; including administering, scoring, and interpreting a battery of psychological tests. You will be responsible for providing information, evaluations, monitoring, and support to severely mentally ill inmates and those in need of crisis intervention and plan development. You will also perform individual and group psychotherapy and screening inmates for psychiatric services and other mental health services.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:

You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.

All employees in the Department of Corrections must obtain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification within two months of hire and maintain it for the duration of employment in the job.

Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
