Are you an experienced benefits professional with a background in 401k administration? We're seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist for a Collierville, TN based corporation to oversee and manage all aspects of benefits administration. If you have 5+ years of benefits experience, analytical skills, and advanced Excel proficiency, we encourage you to now.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure employee data is accurately updated and reflected in systems, adhering to company policies.

  • Oversee 401k and FSA contributions, ensuring accurate transmission to vendors, monthly audits, and compliance with Plan and ERISA guidelines.

  • Support annual benefits processes, such as non-discrimination testing, plan audits, filings, and open enrollment coordination.

  • Ensure all records, reports, and required documentation comply with federal, state, and provider regulations.

  • Monitor reports from administrators and insurance carriers to ensure compliance with benefit plan requirements.

  • Administer the organization's full suite of benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short/long-term disability plans.

  • Manage the retirement savings plan (401k), including loan and hardship withdrawal processes.

  • Oversee COBRA notifications, annual 5500 reports, compliance testing, and audit coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration.

  • Associate degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ADP HR systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of 401k plans, including automatic deduction processes.

  • Background in handling manual benefits processes and working within a highly collaborative team environment.
