Full Time Days | 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday

Collingswood Manor, a UMC Community in Camden County, is a 5-Star full-service senior living community that is a model in person-centered care community, located in beautiful Collingswood, NJ is seeking a Director of Environmental Services.
Requirements for a Director of Environmental Services:
High School diploma or equivalency.
Three years' experience in housekeeping or a related area in a health care setting required.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities for a Director of Environmental Services:
Establishes work procedures and staff schedules to ensure adequate housekeeping and laundry service for all areas of the facility. Perform audits regularly.
Supervises all housekeeping/laundry activities and performance of staff. Recommends for hire, termination, promotion, etc. all housekeeping/laundry departmental staff. Orients and provides training to all housekeeping and laundry staff. Evaluates the performance of associates and takes corrective action, as necessary.
Investigates, researches and evaluates all departmental supplies, equipment and techniques to determine whether use of these will be an improvement and beneficial to the community.
Inspects physical site and makes recommendations for repairs, parts, and furnishings for maintenance and for improvement of the community.
Prepares and monitors departmental budget, administrative manual and other reports.
Monitors housekeeping and laundry inventory for supplies, equipment and provides feedback. Orders new supplies with administrative approval.
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll time sheets and all department time off schedules.
Attends community-wide meetings with other directors to share information and develop consistent standards. Serves on appropriate community-wide committees or assigns a designee to provide input to facilities operations.
Resolves all department-related requests, complaints or problems in a timely and effective manner.
Coordinates all housekeeping activities, i.e., room layout, equipment, etc. in the community. Coordinates housekeeping/laundry activities with other departments.
Develops cycle cleaning schedule throughout the community.
On call in case of an emergency.
