SAIC ACAS Administrator in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado
Description
SAIC is seeking a talented Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Administrator to support the NORAD-USNORTHCOM (N&NC) on the N&NC Information Technology Enterprise Services (NITES) program. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in utilizing ACAS for vulnerability assessment and mitigation, as well as familiarity with other DoD vulnerability management tools and experience in cybersecurity fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to perform vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
Analyze ACAS reports to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement necessary patches and security controls to reduce risk across the network.
Maintain and optimize ACAS configurations for maximum efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of system vulnerabilities to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant security policies.
Provide technical support and training to team members on ACAS functionalities and best practices.
Document and track all vulnerabilities and remediation efforts, maintaining thorough records for compliance audits.
Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, adapting ACAS usage and practices accordingly.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Hold a Top Secret Clearance.
Bachelors with 2 years or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for vulnerability management and compliance reporting.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret vulnerability data and develop mitigation strategies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant Cybersecurity Certification(s): Security+ or higher.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in scripting or automation for enhancing ACAS functionality.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat Linux.
Previous experience in DoD cybersecurity environment is Highly Desirable.
Associate Degree or working on a BS degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
