Description: C6ISR Engineering & Technology is currently seeking an experienced professional to work as part of the Integrated Engineering team to provide business and project management support to a variety of E&T initiatives. The Business Manager will work closely with Integrated Engineering Leadership, RMS Engineering & Technology Productivity, Finance and other cross-functional organizations. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in engineering project management, cross-functional and cross-enterprise team leadership and executive-level visibility.

The Business Manager will be primarily responsible for the following efforts and serve in the following capacity on behalf of the C6ISR LOB:

The C6ISR staffing lead : Coordinate and facilitate all E&T Staffing Reviews for the LOB, as well as collaborate with the C6ISR market segment Leadership, staffing leads, and their staff on staffing strategy, execution, maintenance of staffing plans, data visualizations\\analysis and metrics, and will also participate in the transition to and the adoption of new Enterprise level staffing tools. This role will act as the liaison between the C6ISR E&T organization and the DX/Productivity teams in staffing and automation initiatives providing feedback on LOB centric needs and working to expand the use of automated tools/processes for Staffing efforts. The Lead will be responsible for preparation of data visualizations and analysis of data resulting in LOB level summary information and recommendations which will shape staffing actions for the organization. The Staffing Lead may collaborate with Market Segment leadership, E&T functional management and sub level staffing coordinators to assure maintenance of staffing plans (supply and demand) in the GRID tool and in preparation of mid to lower-level staffing review data on a periodic basis.

The C6ISR LOB Metric Liaison: Provides overall corporate metric process oversight for the applicable corporate reportable programs within their respective LOB. The role ensures programs adhere to the Enhanced Program Reporting System (EPRS) business rhythm for Technical Scoring to assess program performance and ensure functional excellence. To meet the objective of providing timely metrics, the LOB Liaison starts by coordinating with their programs to ensure that the corporate metric data has been submitted to the E&T Corporate Metric Dashboard. Once the data has been submitted, the LOB Liaison coordinates with the Program Chief Engineer to review the calculated Technical Scoring. If necessary, the LOB Liaison coordinates with Program Managers, Program Chief Engineers, LOB Chief Engineers and/or the RMS Program Management Vice President to process any technical rating overrides. In addition, the LOB Liaison solicits, from their programs, any opportunities for improvement with respect to corporate metric process, corporate metric definitions (existing and new), automation requirements, E&T Dashboard/Scorecard implementation and E&T Widget Technology expansion. The LOB Liaison works closely with the E&T Productivity – Metric Subject Matter Expert and E&T Productivity – Automation & Dashboard Lead to implement these opportunities for improvement to create a more robust corporate metric system.

The LOB E&T Cost Estimate Review Coordinator (CERC): Coordinates and facilitates all E&T Cost Estimate Reviews (CERs) for their LOB, as well as provides weekly status to the LOB Chief Engineer. If there are multiple sites then LOB CERC obtains status from each site CERC to send one combined status to the LOB Chief Engineer. The purpose of having a CERC is to prevent debooks and losses, ensure compliance to the RMS command media requirements, ensure appropriate approvals and consistency across RMS and the LOB, and provide guidance and mentoring to the E&T cost estimate leads. This position can be virtual or be at any C6ISR location

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• 10 years or more of professional experience or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• 3+ years experience in program/leadership reviews and monthly reporting.

• 2+ years experience with E&T financial/budget sources, budget allocation/planning and management.

• 2+ years experience with Work Force Analytics (WFA)/GRID.

Desired Skills:

• Highly motivated and self-driven individual with proven interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

• Experience navigating complex assignments with minimal supervision, balancing competing priorities and participating in cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Cost Estimating Reviews (CERs).
