Aerotek Control Systems Technician in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Hiring Control System Technicians in Colorado Springs, CO

Control system technicians will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying control systems equipment within an industrial environment.

Pay: $33.00hr (opportunity for advancement)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of control systems experience

  • Must have experience with PLC's, motor controls, robotics, etc.)

  • You will receive formal training on high speed, automation, and robotic equipment

  • Preferred Industries & Equipment: Candidate from Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders), specifically experience with conveyors

  • Secondary: Candidate from Automotive, Military, Industrial Facilities Maintenance, etc. industries that have experience performing maintenance on complex systems and equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders)

Job Description:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems

  • Troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24VDC systems

  • Monitor material handling equipment metrics and partner with facilities/operations for system performance issues both within assigned Fulfillment Center (FC) and with like systems in similar FC systems

  • Communicate technical issues and project timelines with building leadership, operations and the maintenance team. Explain production impacts and work closely with operations and engineering

Shifts:

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available

  • 10-12 hour shifts
