JOB SUMMARY The E-Commerce Supervisor role will support Goodwill's mission by generating revenue to help people overcome barriers to economic and personal independence through education, training, and job placement programs. The Supervisor will assist in managing the department of Associates and Shift Supervisors. This role is responsible for meeting the budget and goals for production and sales, as well as ensuring the department is running at optimal efficiency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/KPIs for assigned duties. Monitors the work floor and addresses immediate issues of safety, and product flow either personally or through delegation (aka "Management by Walking Around"). Manages daily operations including but not limited to break schedules, call-offs, redirecting associates based on warehouse needs. Supervises the team by providing training, direction, conducting performance reviews, discipline and assisting in hiring and termination process Ensures associates are held accountable for their performance and production according to set goals and standards. Models and maintains the highest level of quality listings through the product lifecycle. Teaches, coaches, and implements product research protocols, and procedures and protocols for listing items on our E-commerce platforms. Teaches, coaches, and implements a consistent and courteous customer service/support experience. Tracks, reports, and identifies opportunity on performance, production, and quality standards. Oversees storage and shelving of listed inventory. Duties are completed accurately, safely, and timely to ensure that items are handled appropriately and not damaged throughout the process. Promotes and demonstrates positive teamwork and cooperation. Adapts and uses technology as it becomes available to operate efficiently. This includes but is not limited to process automation and platform updates and/or changes. Maintains a clean and organized work area to provide a safe and efficient workflow for employees and customers. Adheres to and implements Goodwill and department policies and procedures, the Employee Handbook, and safety standards. Cross-trains and works in other areas as assigned by any member of management. Performs all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience: Minimum one-year of supervisor/management experience to include: supervising staff, scheduling, goal setting, task delegation and decision makin Minimum of one-year E-Commerce sales experience desired. Other: Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standard . This may include but is not limited to Internet Search Engines, Microsoft Office Suite and other software platforms. Have a keen eye for detail and quality. Able to be detail oriented and very organized. Have an advanced level of knowledge to identify and describe high-end merchandise, including but not limited to: antiques, collectibles, artwork, designer brand names, jewelry, books, and media. Able to effectively write and proofread item descriptions for clarity, spelling, and grammar. Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers through verbal and electronic means. Able to problem solve and make decisions. Able to maintain confidentiality. Able to withstand prolonged sitting/standing, reaching, and bending up to 8 hours per day. Must have the ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required. Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
