Hiring Heavy Equipment Operator for heavy civil travel project!

$25-$30/hr depending on experience + housing + $50/day of per diem

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for a critical infrastructure project involving the demolition of an existing bridge and the construction of a new one in Las Animas, CO.

• This role is pivotal in our heavy civil construction efforts, requiring expertise in operating various heavy machinery.

• Approximately 70% of the operating work will be on the excavator , with additional responsibilities including the operation of loaders and skid steers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for the majority of the project tasks.

• Utilize loaders and skid steers for various construction activities.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all heavy equipment.

• Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience of excavator operation.

• Experienced in skid steer and loader operation.

• Demolition experience

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must have valid drivers license

Job Type

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 6 months, offering the potential for long-term employment based on performance.

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site travel position based in Las Animas, Colorado.
