Work Schedule: (4) 10’s Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Landscaper – Colorado Springs, CO 80907 – $17.00-$20.00+/hour

We are in need of several laborers. We need several for our clients' construction/installation department- experience in installation of landscapes (sod, rock, mulch, patios, walls, etc.). We need several for our clients' landscape maintenance department- experience in mowing, trimming, clean ups ,etc. preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities: Depending on which landscaper role.

  1. Landscape Maintenance:

  2. Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding.

  3. Monitor and maintain plant health, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.

  4. Seasonal clean-ups and debris removal to keep landscapes looking pristine.

  5. Landscape Installation:

  6. Assist in the installation of plants, trees, shrubs, and other landscape features according to design plans.

  7. Work collaboratively with the installation team to bring landscape designs to life.

  8. Ensure proper soil preparation and planting techniques.

  9. Irrigation System Installation and Maintenance:

  10. Install and maintain irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.

  11. Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions to optimize water efficiency.

  12. Collaborate with clients to educate them on irrigation system usage and water conservation.

  13. Hardscape Maintenance:

  14. Perform basic repairs and maintenance on hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

  15. Assist in the installation of new hardscape elements as needed.

  16. Client Communication:

  17. Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner.

  18. Provide information on landscape maintenance schedules, irrigation practices, and answer client inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance, installation, and irrigation.

  • Knowledge of local plant species, horticultural practices, and irrigation systems.

  • Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:

  • High School or GED is preferred.

Experience:

  • For landscape maintenance or installer positions, at least one year of landscaping experience is required.

  • For irrigation tech, at least 1-2 years of experience in this position is required.
