Summary Description: The Colorado College Counseling and Psychological Services office is seeking a licensed psychologist with a strong clinical background to provide professional assessment and therapy to the students of Colorado College. The psychologist works as a member of the clinical team which includes social workers, psychiatrist, psychologists, and master's level therapists. We work as a collaborative team that responds to the professional mental health needs of the students.

What We Offer:

Anticipated Salary Range: $66,514 to $81,480 per year

Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and multi person psychotherapy and mental health assessment. Perform emergency mental health assessment and take appropriate emergency action, including hospitalization. Maintain knowledge and follow all current applicable ethical and legal standards. Provide professional consultations to colleagues, faculty, staff and students of the college. Maintain accurate and up to date electronic health records. Provide case management services as needed. Share on call responsibilities with other professional staff. Maintain professional level sensitivities to diverse populations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D./Psy.D/.LCSW from an accredited program in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; license (or license eligible) as a psychologist in Colorado; highly developed clinical skills in evaluation, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and young adult development

Preferred Qualifications:

APA accredited internship; demonstrated ability to provide high quality mental health services and prevention programs; previous experience in a college counseling center; demonstrated ability to perform emergency mental health assessments; demonstrated competence in working with a culturally diverse student population.
