Description

LinQuest is seeking an innovative, creative and highly-motivated teammate to support a MILSATCOM Program Management Office (PMO) within the US Space Force’s (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO.

LinQuest is the prime contractor on the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for LinQuest employment. However, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.

The candidate will execute Integrated Product Support responsibilities by performing logistics analyses and support the Government to perform capabilities-based assessments or other analysis to assess capability requirements, associated capability gaps, and risks by developing architecture views to identify mission needs and perform mission-area requirements analyses.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force’s acquisition of state of the art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and provide recommendations for process improvements and solutions to ensure continuous equipment availability and reliability.

  • Communicate logistical and technical concepts to the broad user audience.

  • Work with the government and contractor team to develop and execute logistics strategies, fielding, and coordinate logistics activities across multiple locations.

  • Develop logistics plans affecting acquisition, distribution, and inventory/spares.

  • Develop and coordinate procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize equipment reliability and availability.

  • Monitor equipment performance to track trends related to breakage or failure.

  • Analyze developer plans, evaluate proposed sustainment activities, and develop recommendations for potential solutions

  • Perform analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements and document results of the analyses in a report format

  • Travel: Less than 10%

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • 5 years’ related experience DoD Space Operations, Life Cycle Logistics, or DoD Acquisition

  • Integrated Product Support - knowledgeable

  • Life Cycle Logistics – expert

  • Microsoft Office - expert

  • Oral/written Communications – expert

  • Microsoft Project – aware

  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms

  • You must be authorized to work in the US and able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles

  • Communications Security (US Government) - knowledgeable

  • Configuration Management (DoD) - aware

  • Demilitarization & Disposal (DoD) - knowledgeable

  • Design Interface (US Space Force) – knowledgeable

  • Maintenance Planning & Management (US Space Force) – knowledgeable

  • Operations & Maintenance (US Space Force) – proficient

  • Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (DoD) - knowledgeable

  • Planning (DoD) – knowledgeable

  • Property Accountability (DoD) - knowledgeable

  • Requirements Management (US Space Force) - knowledgeable

  • Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (US Space Force) – knowledgeable

  • Statutes, Policy & Guidance (US Government) - knowledgeable

  • Technical Data (US Space Force) – knowledgeable

  • Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)

  • DoD Supply/Logistics experience

  • NPMA Certification

  • Counterfeit Component Detection Certificate

  • Knowledge of life cycle cost analysis, support equipment requirements, and logistics support analysis

  • Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Clauses

  • Wide Area Workflow, IUID Registry, GFP Management through PIEE

  • DoD communications

Compensation for Colorado: Starting salary ranges from approximately $115,000 to $135,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
