Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

A well respected, local company is seeking a professional and experienced Payroll Administrator with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the payroll field. This individual will oversee payroll operations for our 160 employees, process commissions, and will be responsible for bank reconciliations. Previous experience in using payroll plus through ADP and CDK is a crucial requirement for this role. Responsibilities:

  • Managing full-cycle payroll processes for 160 employees.

  • Administering commission payments and keeping proper records.

  • Rectifying any payroll discrepancies or errors, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

  • Processing payroll adjustments, including benefits, payroll deductions, or PTO.

  • Conducting regular audits to ensure accurate payroll data.

  • Completing bank and account reconciliations.

  • Managing relationships with our payroll and benefits vendors.

  • Ensuring all pay practices comply with state and federal regulations.

  • Providing excellent customer service by handling employees' payroll related questions or concerns in a timely manner.

  • Delivering reports on payroll and individual commissions.

  • Using payroll systems such as payroll plus through ADP, and CDK effectively.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Payroll role.

  • Proven experience in setting up and running payroll for a considerable number of employees.

  • Extensive experience in using payroll plus through ADP and CDK is a must.

  • Excellent numerical skills and a strong eye for detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

  • Extensive knowledge of commission-based payments.

  • Strong aptitude for customer service and good communication skills.

  • Proficient in bank reconciliation and financial data analysis.

  • Knowledge of legal requirements and regulations related to payroll.

The ideal candidate will have impeccable attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle large data sets and manual calculations.
