Mid Platform Engineer: $153,000 - $195,000 Senior Platform Engineer: $185,000 - $246,000

Role Description:

This role will work within Defense Unicorns' Delivery segment and will be working to provide Mission Heroes (customers) with secure DevOps solutions. Specifically, this role will build bare metal Kubernetes (k8s) platforms and AWS platforms that host defensive cyberspace applications. Defense Unicorns is looking to add a Platform Engineer that has strong experience in K8s storage and K8s on bare metal to the team to help prototype and move towards production of various platforms hosting cybersecurity applications.

Responsibilities: Be a member on a cross functional team of 10 engineers that utilizes DevOps and agile disciplines to build a larger system Be the storage expert on a team of 10 engineers of varying disciplines that takes input from all members and facilitates finding the strongest solutions Help architect, prototype, and test bare metal K8s platforms Help support other teams that integrate applications on top of the platforms Help build pipelines that automate testing, building, packaging, and deploying the platform components

Travel Expectations/Requirements: 10-15%
