Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Registered Dietitian 3 to support the Academy School District 20 in Colorado Springs, CO . This is a long tenured and well established account for Sodexo, and we currently manage food service operations in 36 locations.

This position will work closely with students to provide nutritional guidance and recommendations based on their dietary needs. This RD will provide support to 4 additional accounts in the region. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday daytime hours- no nights or weekends.

The ideal candidate will:

• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

• Assist in menu development, analysis and management of nutritional information;

• Provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client;

• Directs daily operations of food service to ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met;

• Source the right portfolio of products and services to create the best value;

• Collaborate with staff, faculty, parent groups and community leaders to meet wellness goals and implement innovative, hands-on learning programs that incorporate food and nutrition within regular curriculum;

• Be proficient with utilizing social media tools;

• Be responsible for all special diets required by the district;

• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations as it relates to school nutrition

• Are a Registered Dietitian credentialed with CDR;

• Have experience in developing and translating health-conscious menus;

• Are an expert on dietary preferences and allergies and serve to guide nutritional choices accordingly;

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels;

• Have the proven ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition;

• Have strong presentation skills;

• Have demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changing needs of the role;

• Have a history of working independently with little direction;

• Have a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement; and/or

• Are very comfortable interacting with people.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
