Job Description: L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Document Management (DM) analyst to support Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) technical editing activities on the Maintenance of Space Situational Awareness Integrated Capabilities (MOSSAIC) program.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ensuring high-quality program documentation by performing technical editing to ensure deliverable template compliance, including specifications, software baseline documents, briefings, minutes, and other documents utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications.
Responsible for ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and free of errors.
Ensure consistency in tense and format of products.
Identify and correct usage errors of certain terms and edit for capitalization, spelling, typographical errors, grammatical errors, inconsistency in significant figures, and corrections to indexes, headings, and citations.
Responsible for creating locked down working templates for Engineers and Program Managers utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
Coordinate with document authors or project managers to ensure scheduled due dates are met and special handling requirements are understood to ensure on- time quality delivery.
Must be able to work independently under only minimal supervision, have a high degree of attention to detail, and be trusted to enable on-time quality delivery of all required deliverable documents for multiple projects or proposals in a dynamic work environment.
Responsible for conducting all aspects of Documentation Management (DM) and data management for multiple projects.
Responsible for developing and implementing DM review cycle plans.
Establish internal review delivery dates and coordinate with the project manager for delivery of documents into the review process.
Properly mark classified documents with Distribution, Destruction, and Declassification Information, proper classified markings, and foreign disclosure statements
Experience with proper marking for DoD classified documents, foreign disclosure statements, and working in a classified environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Ability to work independently under only general direction; have a high degree of attention to detail and be trusted to enable on-time quality delivery of all required deliverable documents for multiple projects in a dynamic work environment
Knowledge and experience with SharePoint are preferred
Ability to learn SW tools and develop expertise
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate flexibility in daily work
Edit various types of contract deliverable documents (e.g., CDRLs/documents according to DoD and Air Force standards and Style Guide)
Reading and understanding Contract Statements of Work and Performance Work Statements
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge
Document management experience, to include:
Understanding of MIL-STD-963C “Data Item Descriptions” and CDRLs (DD- Form 1423), including formatting requirements included therein
Understanding of GEIA-859 “Data Management”
Understanding of DoD 5010.12-M “Procedures for the Acquisition and Management of Technical Data”
Developing and implementing DM plans and experience working with DoD, Air Force, and/or Commercial DM standards as well as experience establishing DM controls, tracking monthly delivery status, developing delivery metrics, and performing technical editing to ensure deliverable template compliance, spelling/grammar, and readability
DoD Secret Clearance a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $61,000 - $114,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
