Philips Sr. Sourcing Manager – Software and Cloud Services in Colorado Springs, Colorado

A Sr. Sourcing Manager – Software and Cloud Services is responsible for developing and leading the sourcing strategy for technology, hardware, software, and services in the Enterprise Informatics and Innovation & Strategy sectors.

Your role:

  • Coordinate onboarding and manage the sourcing process for commercial and innovation suppliers across the Philips ecosystem, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs.

  • Partner with R&D, Product Management, and suppliers to co-create and industrialize software and cloud programs, influencing business strategy and conducting Design for Excellence (DfX) activities.

  • Act as a thought leader and authoritative expert in technologies, processes, and cost drivers for major commodities, impacting sourcing strategies and business outcomes.

  • Engage cross-functional and cross-business partners to develop innovative solutions, managing and delivering sourcing deliverables, and ensuring user needs are integrated.

  • Develop and execute sourcing plans for new product introductions (NPIs), focusing on technical capability, quality, cost, risk, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

You're the right fit if:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience in technology-focused organizations, especially in software design, sourcing, and delivery, with a preference for healthcare informatics.

  • Strong background in managing software and cloud services vendors, supply chain management, software licensing models, pricing, and contract terms, with knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements; supplier quality experience is a plus.

  • Exceptional collaborative, interpersonal, and influencing abilities to navigate complex organizational structures and work effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers, project teams, and senior management.

  • Proven organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
