Pay: $20.50 per hour

Work Schedule: 40 hours a week, M-F

This full-time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave. JOB SUMMARY:

The Supervisor III, Community Programs provides program support to ensure the needs of the participants are being met in order to maximize their fullest potential in their program environment. This individual will be responsible for providing direction and guidance to staff, as well as contractors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Staff Supervision and Support:

  • The Program Supervisor will ensure that all staff are present for work and accountable. The incumbent will provide staff assistance with problem solving on conflicts concerning the Case Management Agency (CMA) providers, parents, guardians, or participants and when necessary, the Program Supervisor will also provide conflict resolution. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all appropriate paperwork for CARF and CMA is turned in on time to meet established due dates. The incumbent will maintain and approve timecards, mileage reports, and time off request for their director report. The Program Supervisor is also responsible for completing performance evaluations at 90 days and annual reviews providing timely feedback and guidance for performance development for direct reports.

Budgeting and Billing:

  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for authorizing all expenses required for programming and approving expense reports. In addition, the incumbent must review monthly budget analysis to ensure that assigned program is within the allotted budget. When the budget allows, the Program Supervisor will also determine individual bonuses and merit increases when appropriate.

  • Incumbent is responsible for all billing within their assigned program. The individual will then complete monthly Outcome reports based off the revenue, utilization or data required.

  • For Residential Services, the incumbent is responsible to ensure that contractors complete log notes and complete payment for services process based of those services.

Team Support:

  • As a member of the Community Impact Operations, the Program Supervisor will attend intakes and trainings, when necessary, participate in Supervisor and staff meetings. The incumbent will ensure coverage when staff is absent. The Program Supervisor must maintain a good working knowledge of Medicaid and CARF Regulations. The incumbent will also perform all extra duties as assigned.

Relationship Management:

  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all participants, vendors, stakeholders, direct reports, and co-workers presenting a positive image of the company to the customer, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism in every task and communication. The incumbent will deal effectively and calmly with non-routine situations following accepted guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field is preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • One (1) year of experience in a managerial and/or administrative position is mandatory if the degree requirement is not met.

  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Other:

  • A valid Colorado driver’s license without a history of violations is required*.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with various types of internal and external customers are preferred.

  • Continuously research new avenues to optimize workflow, thus creating more quality time while meeting established deadlines.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports and plans in a timely manner. Demonstrate excellent time management skills, initiative, and ability to work independently and respond to special requests.

  • Must have a working knowledge of Goodwill of Colorado’s vision and goals to assist in moving forward to expand rehabilitation and programs geared to assist disabled and disadvantaged people in attaining an optimal level of vocational and personal functioning and independence.

  • Must conduct self in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the firm’s reputation.

*Per auto vehicle insurance carrier requirements: For applicants/employees to qualify for inclusion on the Goodwill driver insurance schedule, for purpose of driving Goodwill fleet vehicles, they must be at least:

  • 19 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation),

  • 25 – 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services,

  • 21 years of age for CDL.

Applicants/employee will be required to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check; applicants/employees must disclose all moving traffic violations or vehicle crashes (within the last three (3) years)(Note: not all violations are a disqualification for employment and each case will be reviewed by the insurance carrier); must have valid Colorado State driver license; must also be able to operate company vehicle, and adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws governing vehicle operation.
