SAIC Test and Evaluation Analyst in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado

Description

SAIC 's Horizon program is seeking a Test and Evaluation Analyst to support the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) program located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Horizon team members provide systems engineering development and integration expertise in support of various capabilities that protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of the advising and assisting the Government with their architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering processes that enable key systems (e.g., satellites and their ground systems, ground-based space systems and their command and control capabilities) to meet warfighter needs.

The position’s responsibilities include:

  • Provide Test & Evaluation expertise across the entire lifecycle from concept development to operations.

  • Provide technical oversight and analysis of development and lifecycle efforts (i.e. design, development, integration, test, production, and sustainment) whether they are traditional acquisition methods (e.g. waterfall, spiral, etc.) or agile/prototype.

  • Provide analysis on VV&A data to characterize and look for negative trends to determine system effectiveness against objectives and requirements.

  • Assist with and perform test research, development, and other customer-directed assignments in conformance with technical design, engineering, and customer specifications.

  • Understand and review model-based SE plans as required.

  • Understand test scope using Project Management principles including Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness, Suitability, and Performance (MOE, MOS, & MOP).

  • Able to determine the amount and level of testing to be accomplished and coordinate to acquire the necessary test support resources.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline and 14+ years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience.

  • Must have a current background investigation commensurate with Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information access and consent to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination.

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge regarding performance analysis, test plan design, and test development for on-orbit testing, ground testing, VV&A testing, and requirements testing.

  • Experience leading combined hardware/software and, or space/ground integration activities.

  • Experience using model-based system engineering tools and methods.

  • Experience with Systems Architecting and lifecycle support.

  • Previous experience in applying Agile and/or DevOps development processes and techniques.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
